Can you please advise what is classed as an item? Is this in reference to assets, recorded actions or overall storage and is the allocation for the live environment or will it also include the test environment?

Items currently do not factor into Alloy usage limits, meaning there is no hard stop if you keep adding items. This will of course cause a customer project to eventually exceed any allowance based on the subscription but nothing will cease to work.
We will eventually be adding item count to quota’s so they can be tracked in the same way as other quotas within the application.
With regards to “including the test environment” Alloy Customer Projects are completely decoupled, quota’s and limits do not span more than a single Customer Project so they would be considered independent.
