Sequencing of Domestic Waste Containers

I am looking for some feedback on how other users manage their waste containers in Alloy. We currently hold sequence id numbers against our containers and ask operatives to sort the data in the waste jobs by this sequence id. They should then empty the containers in a waste job according to this defined sequence.

This is causing us some issues, including - increased data management burden on our back office team and Alloy can only hold 1 sequence id number against a container. We have some containers that are on multiple waste jobs (and at different sequences within them).

I am looking to understand if other users use the sequence id functionality on the waste container design or if there are other methods for displaying waste containers in the desired collection sequence in the Alloy in-cab app - eg, do users use the ‘Sort by distance’ function?

Thanks
