# Show direction of Line/MultiLine geometry

We have recently begun importing our flood risk assets into Alloy and one of those is our Culverts layer.
Having loaded this into Alloy, we can’t work out how to show the direction of features. All geometry starts at the upstream end of the culvert and ends at the downstream end, we would like to show the direction on the map.

Hi Chris,
This sounds like something we could reuse existing visualisations for, unfortunately it isn’t something the software is configured to allow at the moment without changes to functionality. I can definitely see this being useful though and would appreciate an IDEA opened at [https://ideas.alloyapp.io/](https://ideas.alloyapp.io/) to make the product team aware and allow others to indicate that this is a useful feature 👍
